The North American Open Wheel Tour

Open Wheel Racing returns to the MAD Sim Racing Series Racing Division this Spring, with the North American Open Wheel Tour Presented by The Into The Apex Podcast. This planned to be one-off short series will feature the iRacing Formula 4 car, and will visit some of the best and most challenging North American road courses. The Series kicks off with the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course – significant in it’s history, but a flat course that might help amateurs adjust to the F4 car. In the following weeks, the challenge ramps up with visits to Mosport and Road Atlanta – courses with elevation changes and dangerous sectors. The Series hits Mid-Ohio, VIR, and Road America, before the finale at the F1 rated Circuit of The Americas. The Series will race on Thursday nights, and the lights go out on the opening race on Thursday, April 21.
